old character from like 2016, originally she was grouped in with animal characters and I couldn't figure out what animal she would be since the horn design came before the idea. Now she's monster/human haha.

Ryu Kato's painted animations were really special in The Nighthawk's Star. The 7-frame loop (unique frames) at the start for example doesn't only create the illusion that each one is different but reminds us that life is constantly active & for the taking - the film's core idea.

One of the first tasks I did when I joined the team! The tall ones are based on animals, but with an extra eyeball and some fun big fangs. This isn't anywhere biologically correct, but it was enough to sell the idea.
