Decided I wanted to practice using a softer, more realistic style of shading and I couldn't be happier with my progress. Will likely be using this new style more often.

Experiment with various edges to create contrast and direct the composition. Pens or a fine brush with wet ink will create a crisp line. A more frayed/dry brush will create softer lines. This can be used to create depth of field effects or lessen the impact of lines. 8/?
I just really felt like drawing aurex again but i kinda also wanted to give more flavor to his design so i tweaked it again...
so uh.. aurex 3.0 everyone!! he's even softer and handsomer than before!!! which i think is an improvement....

The coralhair of the coraling are really hard to cut ! The hairstylish need to use a special shampoo that softened the coral before cutting It.
