When I was originally making her I had recently learned about complimentary colors! I wanted to go with a mostly red-orange + green-blue combo. As time went on i made her colors less neon and harmonize a little better, while still trying to preserve that contrast/pop of color.

I haven't even started reading the issue yet, but this cover is so good.
Just everything - the pose, the perspective, the red rope lines - all complimenting the logo and sweeping the eye in the same direction. It is masterful.
I hope they still release that poster of it.

I’ll go first.
My parents never supported my art career. They also never opposed it. They were only interested if I had a steady flow of income. They never complimented my work or asked to see more of. And I think it took a greater toll than I care to admit.
