Milla in her rain gears. In this practice I attempted to make the "larger shapes" look more assertive and contrast with each other. The outlines were made tidier than what I did before. I plan to study how to color the raincoat texture on top of this sketch.

Attempted a high angle I rarely tried, and experimented coloring where the boundaries of shadows are slightly darker. I also grouped each of Milla's hairs, ears, torso, arms and legs with underlying simple shades respectively so the structure is easier to understand.

It’s Shantae and Rottytops! I attempted to draw these two in under 20 minutes and the product came out okay. I spend and hour though coloring them in using photoshop manually. I don’t think I will shade this way again because I wasn’t satisfied with it.

a couple years ago i attempted nanowrimo with a story that was a flop because i had a whole cast of characters and literally no plot ideas. i still like those characters but havent done anything much with them - trying to fix that by refining a couple of their designs
