Here are some paintings by French artist Othon Friesz (6 February 1879 – 10 January 1949). He was a member of the Fauvist movement, a kind of extreme Post-Impressionism, utilizing pure color and abstraction. These works remind me of Cézanne and Matisse.

From Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. It's a series of landscape prints by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai (1760–1849). I am fascinated by the boldness of the composition of his works.
