One thing that's always bugged me is the armor Atriox and the other brutes wear in the Rise of Atriox comic. It just looks like pre-Banished armor and not like any Covenant armor, though I will admit it has grown on me,I just wish it at leats had some color other than just grey

If I’d compare the Banished to any fictional faction, I’d pick the Decepticons. They both started as an opposition movement, preaching equality, then they turn into raiders, conquerors, warmongers. And Atriox and Megatron are very much similar in command style and word play.

Halo Rise of Atriox appreciation post! I absolutely love this comic, even the art style, and the covers of each issue(not including the issue 5)are some of the most unique Halo comic covers imo

Since we know the Banished have more ships in their fleet, I kinda wanna analyze their ships: they have at least one SDV, and several CCS’, as seen in Rise of Atriox and in Atriox’s origin cutscene in HW2. So I imagine they have a standardized flotilla out while Atriox is waring

Something I’ve been thinking about today:

Atriox probably has a great amount of respect for Arbiter. I imagine that someone who “broke the wheel” and led his people out of being manipulated by the Prophets is somebody that Atriox views in a very positive light.
