Walking with Dinosaur Waifus. This all started with the meme where Coelophysis was drawn with stockings and now she's a dino girl.

Wanted to sketch something new 🦖

Coelophysis

an extinct genus of coelophysid theropod dinosaur that lived approximately 216 to 196 million years ago during the latter part of the Triassic Period- Wikipedia

It's time for another - Meet Coelophysis! 🦖

Coelophysis is a small theropod from the Triassic period. It's also one of the earliest proper fossil discoveries - it was named in 1887!

Day 21: Coelophysis- Coelophysis had unusually well-developed eyesight, which presumably helped it to home in on its prospective meals and may even be a hint that this dinosaur hunted at night.

A bit too busy all of a sudden to make artwork that I can share, so here are some feathered dinosaurs from less packed times~

Either way, as I said, I was going down a different path, mainly concerning the integument. Coelophysis bauri also recieved some interestingly progressive covering, tho the extent of the feathers is obviously dated (aka legs don't get plumage for some reason)

“A young female Coelophysis bauri quietly wandering trough the plains of Pangaea, wondering if somewhere there's a male who will accept her as she is, despite her scars and mutilations.”
