OTD 1575, Two heroes of Elizabethan history , Francis Drake and John Norreys assaulted and took Sorley Boy McDonnell's castle on Rathlin Island then scoured the island putting every man, woman & child to the sword. Possibly 600 were slaughtered-Essex was well-pleased with result

It has elves, witches and a lot of visual references to Elizabethan England...

Elaborate colored sketch of everyone's favorite Elizabethan-speaking, dress-wearing, nerd, Urianger. The lighting engine in the game is dubious in its accuracy but it works well enough for referencing!

Cover for Magonomia, for , a game of Elizabethan wizardry. The skulls with glowing eyes were definitely inspired by 's Hellboy artwork.

For#MonumentsMonday or whatever, the superb Elizabethan canopied tomb of Richard Herbert, Montgomery church. Figures of Vanity and Time in the spandrels of the arch. She does not seem to be plagued by guilt or regrets!
