@CoreyBrickley You could try Design Doll as a starting point. There's a free version where you can create any pose from any angle, model the body type however you like, change the FOV and draw directly onto the models. I found it's about as easy to learn as MS paint.
@hikikomoka Messing around with fov sliders and mouse sensitivity can help! Or maybe play something that isn't fully 3d like Doom until you're used to it?

@Baffan It’s not QUITE the same! The FOV has a different effect even if it ends up looking similar.
