Tam Lin, Scottish tale of bravery by a lady who encounters a mysterious man in a forest. She finds herself pregnant with his child, and learns he is captive to the faeries. She manages to find and rescues him, angering the Faerie Queen.

Oh my god FAERIES. I already think the people who design these monsters have top-tier taste, but I really do appreciate how monstrous these fairies are. As more fairies SHOULD be! I think Squot, the creepy mushroom cap bouncing a glowing bug, is my favorite.
