Did my own drawing of Metallix. Inspiration and idea came from who redesigned and renamed his idea/version of Mecha Sonic "Metallix" which comes from the brotherhood of Metallix from the British sonic comic.

Check out SMBZ. Loved it as a kid.

Sonic the Comic had some of the coolest designs sometimes, didn't it? What you get by getting Judge Dredd artists to draw Sonic I guess.

Richard Elson is still my all time favourite Sonic artist, especially at the comic's height.

Ref art for Prince the Metallix. Been on a roll with cleaning up notebook lines! The proportions are more exaggerated than I like to do, but I figured it worked with the style of the Fleetway comics.
