A big thing that helps curb my insane perfectionism is that I don’t need to be 100% accurate with my pixel art. As pixels are a set grid, they’re incapable of making precise outlines so you’re forced to comprise on your concept. #pixelart

The indie animation scene has been ongoing for years. Check out There She Is!! or Charlie the Unicorn. These were popular back then and are indie. Even modern indie anim like Alphabet isn’t complex to tell a successful story. Have faith in yourself and release the perfectionism.
