Work in Progress of a SFW commission I'm doing, depicting the two people that killed legendary general Pyrrhus of Epirus, according to Greco-Roman historian Plutarch

Within 3 years of Pyrrhus' departure from southern Italy, Tarentum had fallen and Rome became the dominant power in southern Italy, paving its way for future incursions to the east.

Pyrrhus watched his priestess and master hurl herself at fellow Sul-Menites. Her voice was a hoarse scream.

It had all happened too fast. Too fast for him to prevent it. But he might still be able to stop it.

Pyrrhus approached the Priestess of the Flame alone. The rare breach of protocol was not done to protect himself—rather, to protect his fellows. They had not seen her like…this.

In 276 BC the Hellenistic king Pyrrhus famously remarked upon departing Sicily, 'Oh what a wrestling ground we are leaving for the Carthaginians and Romans to fight over.' He was proved right when, 12 years later, the First Punic War erupted

9. Fave PC:

If you've hung around my twitter you've probably heard me rave about Pyrrhus.

Pyrrhus gave me a chance to work through a lot of things, including what it means to stick to your values when everyone around you is telling you to ditch them. He's... just... Good.

I'd love to play my guy Pyrrhus in CR. very much the Tired Dad type, a philosopher forced by circumstances to be a warrior.

If I had to put him in D&D terms (he's from Exalted), he'd be a oath of redemption paladin/sun soul monk multiclass probably 🤔 CR needs more paladins.
