This is a comic flower tip: I like to focus on silhouette.

Lupines are a bit complicated, so I drew them as fluffy cones. I also grow them now and have studied them, and drew them in a more detailed way (image two), but I'd still go with the fluffy cones (image one) I think lol

This is Arvariene, she's a mechanite (a techno-organic 'evolution' of humans) who works as a private detective and later on as a mercenary.
She's really friendly and also really strong, and tends to intimidate people unintentionally with her height and scraggly-haired silhouette.

I'll be honest.
Morpeko's base design looks like it was thought up and finalized in under 2 minutes flat.
The design is just sooo messy, random stuff, with little satisfying logic to it imo. Also literally Pikachu's silhouette. (Other than Pika tail print on the back.)

-and when its texture then I cant have a complicated silhouette. (T) stands for texture and (S) stands for silhouette. Both must have high readability or my piece would get too complicated. (2/2)

Milotic gijinka! I have loved this Pokémon for so long I thought she was so beautiful, went straightforward with a mermaid silhouette to match Milotic’s silhouette.

I'm really fond of the 4-winged concept for MV Ghidorah and how it keeps that Showa silhouette. For my design I also made the bones/fangs black & the flesh/blood dark purple to contrast the gold and really drive home that this isn't from Earth. Added an extra pair of eyes too.

Just a quick lunch sketch to extol how good and effective the art of is. 1. Simple, recognizable silhouette. 2. Bold lines 3. Rich color palette 4. Every asset fits well together. 5. Adorable. did an amazing job.

Yesss I love this whole line. For you I think...Clefaory. Pink puffball but the ears give a kitty silhouette. Its always looked like a cat to me

I sometimes start difficult poses with a skeleton of gesture lines and then a block silhouette...
This one got away from me and turned into its own thing 😂 looking forward to trying this again in color :3
This is Tori the Fox, a sonic fan character I adopted from Cat-Rage :D

ignore, thy viewer, the 2-dimentional characteristics of the subject's attire, for this was but a study of gesture, atmospheric perspective and silhouette.

I had a totally different vision than (see their latest Fitting One Character into ANOTHER Character's Silhouette video on drawfee youtube channel)
Winnie the Pooh in Angelica Pickles' silhouette.

New Oc Alert! This is Codename: Silhouette. They're a character that'll show up in triple moon. I'm picking their outfit, so vote below for which outfit you like. They're a hacker/spy, & a shadow elf. They are stylish, intelligent, and likes to present femme ina femme fatale way

Odile: from swan lake. The Drama. The texture. The mullet. The silhouette. She has it all. The edgy villain look would have us in a chokehold.

It took about 10 min. I started with base values of each color in grayscale and made a silhouette. then made an overlay layer on top of that to shade it. and then added a color layer to color the values. I'm sure I can do it faster if I did it more.

her hair used to be unreasonably long but i chopped it a while back because. easier to draw and better silhouette. 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019

then, I drew clean lines with CSP's pencil brush on another layer, and paint it again. I deleted the drafts and previous painted silhouette.
then I colored the skin and the dress with chalk brush.

New Star Trek looks fun with its retro stylings. But if I was the Fashion Captain I would bring back the three quarter-length naval trousers, they cut a better silhouette.

Which reminds me…for my recent b’day a friend gave me an original almost 50 yr old 1974 Mego Captain Kirk.

These gorgeous prints are by Heather Graham, our Artist in Focus. Heather loves finding 2D objects she can use directly in the printing process, such as the leaves and lichen, either to make an impression or a silhouette. heather
