I just used da oil brush in clip and built up the colors.

Started with a line sketch, made a n underpainting with the colors i liked and then after some structure adjustments, i duplicated and merged it so i could paint on one layer

I'll also put today's piece next to the underpainting (namely a Gradient Map overtop my value sketch). Focuses on cooler midtones, that way adding the warm pops of lights and darks really sell both the warms and the cools with not much extra effort

Fun thing about this one was not only using the brush and pen pressure to just zone out and have fun, BUTTTTT was able to wrangle the Gradient Map settings to work as an underpainting.

It's amazing how much it speeds up a workflow for getting cohesive colors!
