really didn't think we'd get an official english release for yokohama kaidashi kikou but if you'd like to read a really good slice of life, this is the one! the story follows our mc who's a robot learning to live in a world where humanity's slowly fading out.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō is slowly becoming one of my favorite manga. A big part of why it is so relaxing is because it mostly shows people doing nothing – just drinking coffee, relaxing in the sun, watching the scenery, chatting.

It’s the antithesis to our capitalist world.

When talking about Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou I'm just going to say YKK, a lot easier lol. This series is already one of my favorites, I read one chapter per day and that's all I need to stay in a good mood, seeing Alpha explore her humanity bit by bit is a total joy.
