Sounds interesting, reminding me of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, a manga about a very human looking girl robot who makes friends and has good times with them in an oddly tranquil post-apocalyptic world. It's highly recommended reading.

Finished Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou

This was such a soothing manga! Yet it left me feeling empty, loved how the passage of time was portrayed near the end and it made me realize how short life is. it captured the essence of living and I had a great time reading this!
