i’m not... artistic, in a sense. i have aphantasia and i wasnt rly good w colors and ive never competed in grade school poster making contests and i couldn’t draw before 2020. but i said. fuck it. i’m gonna learn this. no matter how bad i am at the start of it.

I got a medium case of aphantasia, and it's incredibly difficult for me to create from scratch, I got a set on my mind of details and from that, I use them as "brushes".

I don't see anything as a cohesive image, just lines and strokes on my head.

As always here's the timestamp. This actually started at the middle point of the procedure as my Surface tablet was freezing constantly. It shows how many times I redo the drawing until I manage to make it work. Normally it comes with either aphantasia or anxiety. Sometimes both.

@meganroseruiz I don't have Aphantasia & my art looks like this. It really gets in the way of drawing, actually, you've perfect image of subject in mind but you can't put it on paper. Frustrating & not satisfying
