Ya'll, I had @Blackmudpuppy illustrate my avatar so now I can be like all of the cool biologists! Seriously, this is amazing and it makes me smile so much. Look at that little #WoodTurtle! Ugh, it's so cute!
The 1st 0nir0 Morphean species has been discovered by Morpheobiologists @MrMe3p @Ioannis_AG @schrodinger777 😽 They are available right now on KnownOrigin. 0nir0 Psyches can claim it for a discounted 0.15 e, but gotta act fast.

Marine Biologists Confess What Creatures They Hope Never To Discover

This illustration of Planococcus halocryophilus bacteria—dweller of Arctic permafrost—is the 3rd in our extremophiles series. Astrobiologists study P. halo to understand how life could survive in super-low temps on Mars. Art by Nicolle R. Fuller of SayoStudio. #perseverance
I don’t know why I didn’t post this sooner but for any biologists/students studying Medicine who love anime, Cells At Work! is a brilliant anime about these anthropomorphised cells (namely a RBC and WBC) who go on adventures within the human body (sort of like Osmosis Jones)
The redhorses are often studied as a group because the different species are *really* tough to tell apart, even for biologists. ID usually involves *lots* of counting of lateral scales + fin rays. Fisheries science is exciting!! #25DaysofFishmas (📷: https://t.co/tfBD9O4EWJ)
now that i have free time i better finish my marine biologists 🤡 #wip #KujoJotaro
It may just be my fellow biologists that get this, and it is a bit geeky. But I can't help myself 😉
An international team of biologists led by Monash University has discovered a new species of extinct seal that lived in the waters around New Zealand some 3 million years ago.

New #Class of Highly Effective #Inhibitors protects against #Neurodegeneration
Neurobiologists have discovered how a #receptor at #neuronal #junctions that normally activates a protective genetic programme can lead to nerve cell death outside synapses. https://t.co/Pcx4jzWAJv
