Japanese SHMUP title screens always go hard, even if it's just cutesy girls shooting mechanical monstrosities into terrifying explosions. The first time I saw this particular piece of art for DoDonPachi Daioujou it was burned into my brain.

On #SaturnDay here’s “DoDonPachi”. This 1997 arcade was developed by #Cave & published by #Atlus, with both involved with the #Sega #Saturn port later that same year. It’s an early ‘bullet hell’ shoot-em-up & one of the best shooters for the system.
