Alberich (elf king) is appears in many Norse & Germanic myths. Sometimes he is king of the elves or the dwarfs. Sometimes he's even a human sorcerer. His name suggests connections to Oberon, a British fairy king, & Andvari, a dwarf in Norse myth.
