Beautiful charcoal dragon eyes from 5th graders! They loved the chance to try to show some realism w/ charcoal & pastel but in an imaginative way. Can't wait to see these lining the hallways!

More Frida Kahlo inspired self portraits finishing up today! I think Frida would be impressed w/ the proportions & imperfect, raw quality of Ss work.

6th graders are WOWING me! There are several more amazing ones that are still in progress but these are just a few that I could capture. Creative, imaginative landscapes! 1st attempt @ creating perspective; I'd say they were pretty successful!

Super fun one day project for 1st Grade today! "Light up the world" is our school's theme this year. We talked about lighting up our world during the holidays...I'm confident they'll be amazing! 😁

1st grade made fall trees reflecting in the water! They learned about color mixing & about symmetry through reflections. They did SO well and had a great time making them!

Kindergarten "Texture Monsters"! Amazing how these went from 2 googly eyes on a blank page to these crazy, goofy monsters! We created implied texture via crayon resist
