went to see Garrone’s Pinocchio and I’m still in awe, the practical effects and costumes and prosthetics of this movie are out of this world beautiful, I was moved to tears by how stunning this movie looks and feels.

In 2019, Italian director Matteo Garrone (Gomorrah), made his own live action version of Pinocchio and it was pretty cool
It follows a bit more Collodi's work, and it wierd and great
Still excited for my boy Del Toro to do it his way tho uwu

We will rise
Out of the cold dark past
Into the light once more
And we will raise our flag
This in remembrance
So much more than vengeance

Token set for some Snow Barbarian characters in my hubby's campaign. We have (in order) Fei, Aghun, Garron, and Chief Ungmak. These have been really relaxing and fun to mess around with.

Now Watching: Dogman (2018) Directed by Matteo Garrone (Gomorrah). One of the most unexpectedly offbeat and powerful Italian Crime Films I’ve seen! Glad I got to see this far in advance of its April US theatrical release and can’t wait to see it again on the big screen!
