Might give this a tweak and repost it later. Any thoughts?

I swear my art always looks better in greyscale. I might just make that my style, fuck colour.

I know my paintings are really colorful and Yes, I love that about myself, but sometimes there’s just something *~*~spicy~*~* about them in greyscale.

Been experimenting a lot with greyscale to color. Mixed feelings. The colors keep not coming through how I want and I feel frustrated, but to me it's a lot easier on my brain to render in greyscale.

Where is the make perfect values and colors button in Photoshop?!

Hmmm red or greyscale... enjoy the red as a nod to Control itself but something about hat greyscale is satisfying too

Colors didn’t turned out how I planned, a little bit dull, and this why I do not use greyscale.

Biasakan diri painting gune greyscale. Study the value. Colour tu nnti2 takpe. Kalau dah boleh faham value and other aspects such as the mood and lighting, colour akan jadi mudah. This is based on my experience sebab dengan cara ni kite boleh tengok contrast character, bg etc

/o/ headcanons . Actually was taking a break and uh, picked up the "alt B" idea and kind of went in a different direction. I really like greyscale. Color painting make me crazy. \o\

Here's the final art, as well as the greyscale. If you would like to color my art for practice, I'm fine with that as long as you credit ! If you enjoyed this tutorial, please consider visiting my tip jar! https://t.co/Cq8cOOPXlp

If you want some advice, I’d say you’re on the right track. Monochromatic illustration is a good way to help you understand form. Though, I started out doing this with greyscale. The following is one example (even though it’s complete shit)

Hi there, I'm Ayu! Currently I'm an artist seeking full time or freelance character illustrations or work for mobile dating apps.

One of the best tips I use is to check the values of your finished piece in greyscale. This is so you can make sure a piece is balanced w/ lighting

After almost 2 months of working every now and then on this I finally finished it! First time trying to draw in greyscale. Higgs Monaghan from and .... Bc I blame Seán's DS LP for my current obsession with this game and this character 🤣

At this stage my artwork always looks totally off xD Funfact... I have no color imagination... my brain works in greyscale... so I tend to just through some midcolours on stuff, establish a light situation later and than colorcorrect the shit out it.

Tried out a new technique of using gradient maps over greyscale. Not entirely satisfied with the result but that might just be me not having enough practice yet.
