Ahhh let's do one of these again. I absolutely love Magna Carta II on the 360! I really consider this being an overlooked JRPG. Great story, lovely characters and a solid turn-based combat system. Get a copy since the prices didn't skyrocketed yet.

Aquaman get's the boring but serviceable, I do love the spikes on him and he looks like he would be a good protagonist or rival in a jrpg. The Trident sells it for the most part but yeah very boring.

Game 3 : Octopath Traveler

Tokyo Xanadu (PS4; 2017)

Tokyo Xanadu is a super fun JRPG. I love that the MC is made in a way where he avoids a lot of potential tropes. The other party members are wonderful as well! Add in really fun combat and great twists, and it's a must play game!

Back in June i drew Emile and Sab Irene as Chrono trigger characters, with Numile chanting xenoblade and Sab Marline confused.
Months later, Sab has now played xenoblade so the two chant together, praising the fantastic JRPG.

This game is honestly great. Some people hate its fanbase, but at the end of the day it's just a really solid JRPG. The narrative is excellent, the cast is well-written and likeable, the aesthetic is cool, and the music is in a class of its own. I love Xenoblade, pic unrelated.

I started a new JRPG. (As a part of my backlog crusade)

Am starting with VC1 because I got it in 2018 and never played it.

5 hours in. It's hard. Almost old school perma death FE hard. One mistake and an hour long mission goes to trash with no checkpoints.
