The issue begins with Conan taking a chemical to allow him to become an Atlantean and breath underwater, this isn't a trope I'm fond of but at least he isn't holding his breath while fighting sea monsters and spying on the Atlanteans *glares at Ka-Zar*

Ka-Zar was always more of a curiosity for me rather than a “must-have,” but I did like when he played more directly into the core Marvel Universe (with Spidey, the Thing, DD, the X-Men and others). I also felt he was at his best with villains like Kraven, Klaw, and Gemini!

If you're not like Will and can accept Lockjaw is not a dude trapped in the body of a dog, this mini by and is a real delight as Lockjaw travels to rarely visited areas of the Marvel Universe, hanging out with D-Man, Ka-Zar, SPIDER-HAM!, and more.

Just noticed that out of nowhere Marvel is giving Ka-Zar a push. Won’t be shocked if they’re testing the water for the MCU. Most people may think that’s weird but not me. Ka-Zar means Savage Land. Disney going for that Jurassic World bag. Superheroes AND DINOSAURS? 💰 💰💰💰💰.
