Sébastien Loeb
@MTFIII Yea it lasted over 100 issues. But Jeph Loeb wanted Kara back and they got Michael Turner to do it so that was that.
—Batman: Dark Victory by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale.
"A father's love...can be a terrible thing."
Superlad!! Created by Jeph Loeb & Ed McGuinnes. Maybe he could be the LGBTQ+ member of the Super Family ? :) ❤️🧡💛💚💚💜
There is one appearance that takes place prior to "Fresh Blood" with Batman & Superman #5. It has Cass/Tim a tiny cute nugget before Loeb proceeds to have the entire Bat(and Super)-Family job to Lex.
Kara Zor-el returns
Jeph Loeb & Michael Turner are tasked with bringing back the original Girl of Steel within the pages of Superman/Batman (DC's #1 selling book for a time. Remember that?)
DAREDEVIL YELLOW art by Tim Sale. Written by Jeph Loeb.
The issue has Superman dealing w/ a new Toyman (who would also play a big role in Loeb’s Superman/Batman), & responding to emails from everyday people. McGuiness handles the big Toyman battles, while Maguire handles the smaller scale email parts. The split in pencils is perfect
At least the next issue was better. Superman #180 was a Loeb penned Dracula story with Ian Churchill pencils. I like Churchill in small doses, and the colors by Tanya and Rich Horie work really well here. I love the change when the sun is up in that last pic
Doctor John Henry Irons, aka Steel.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in the Loeb/Kelly/McGuinness era of #superman; a time when Steel was Clark’s crime-fighting partner and resident wunderkind. I truly love Dr. Irons’ infinite ingenuity and courage. #BlackHeroesofFiction
Like the team of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, the team of Loeb and Ed McGuinness usually means a good time(Superman/Batman) but their 3 issue Fighting American: Rules of the Game mini-series was an example of extreme decompression, a single issue worth of story stretched to three.
@BenEarth5556 I liked when Loeb and McGuinness made him a kind of living kryptonite radiation that just irrationally hated Superman and could possess people

Instead of falling for someone playing the "victim card" fall for some great art, and a light-mystery story with WOLVERINE/GAMBIT: VICTIMS a mini-series by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale that ran from Sept. to Dec. of 1995 and had our X-Men face off against Arcade.
I feel like I was the only one reading the Jeph Loeb/Adam Pollina X-Force back then. I really liked this time for the team.
