Speaking of which, in 2004 Jeph Loeb introduced what should have been a running joke with Selina and Krypto, that nobody ran with but me. 2004, until this cover. It's your turn, dog nerd. https://t.co/lxQBQ1Is47
"Challenging Tradition: Teaching with Drawings by Women in a College Museum," confronts collecting bodies of work that expand narratives in coursework. Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center is offering a look into this exhibit for #MDNY2021. Online January 22. https://t.co/rOucrnFeTq

2. Batman: The Long Halloween by Loeb & Sale

@EvanNotEven Oh no that’s actually based off a story from the Superman/Batman series by Jeph Loeb.

Sébastien Loeb
@MTFIII Yea it lasted over 100 issues. But Jeph Loeb wanted Kara back and they got Michael Turner to do it so that was that.
Loeb & Turner are in perfect creative harmony when Superman has to cut loose.
Loeb's plot is emotionally raw for Clark and he shows a range of fiery emotions and has to get physical. Turner keeps Supes pure by showing the emotions i.e regret, sadness & reflection in his face.
Today i re-read Superman/Batman: Supegirl.
It's not as good as Public Enemies and it is dated, but for the most part I like it.
For starters, in the first chapter Jeph Loeb mamages to work in some of that nice Clark/Bruce banter and Michael Turner draws a boss-ass Batman.
Just off the top of my head, in no particular order:
• Mark Millar's 'Superman: Red Son'
• Mike Mignola's 'Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham'
• Jeff Lemire's 'Animal Man' & Scott Snyder's 'Swamp Thing' for New 52
• Jeff Loeb's 'Batman: The Long Halloween'

—Batman: Dark Victory by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale.
"A father's love...can be a terrible thing."
Superlad!! Created by Jeph Loeb & Ed McGuinnes. Maybe he could be the LGBTQ+ member of the Super Family ? :) ❤️🧡💛💚💚💜
There is one appearance that takes place prior to "Fresh Blood" with Batman & Superman #5. It has Cass/Tim a tiny cute nugget before Loeb proceeds to have the entire Bat(and Super)-Family job to Lex.
Kara Zor-el returns
Jeph Loeb & Michael Turner are tasked with bringing back the original Girl of Steel within the pages of Superman/Batman (DC's #1 selling book for a time. Remember that?)
DAREDEVIL YELLOW art by Tim Sale. Written by Jeph Loeb.
The issue has Superman dealing w/ a new Toyman (who would also play a big role in Loeb’s Superman/Batman), & responding to emails from everyday people. McGuiness handles the big Toyman battles, while Maguire handles the smaller scale email parts. The split in pencils is perfect
At least the next issue was better. Superman #180 was a Loeb penned Dracula story with Ian Churchill pencils. I like Churchill in small doses, and the colors by Tanya and Rich Horie work really well here. I love the change when the sun is up in that last pic
