Been having fun with this new modifier I found: Vertex Weight Mix. I was able to set up a shape key driver that would allow me to slide the sleeves up the arm without being influenced by the forearm. Decided to show it off with a little animation

When you use kit bash, you often wanna change shape like simple bending. You can use lattice modifier or simple deform modifier.
