Okay this is the final product. Loads of tweaking and adding + subtracting later we have a WINNER!

this grew out of an "erasure collage" process we're experimenting with, based on poetry, wherein we take a more-or-less finished collage and begin to subtract from it again

With Mika, Milla, and Velvet, we got the subtractive primary colors lol 😊 Red, Blue, and Yellow.

Wanted to take part in the Rocking New Year so I used the bash mesh to carve out a little dude! 🐸 Using only the subtractive clay brush.

MANY lol Started out as a deer, converted to flamingo deer (which is how the name Feer was born lol), then subtracted deer and added okapi, and now I've arrived at okapi-alien-pink panther, shapeshifting hybrid thingy bc I'll never decide on a species 😌

Art drive has been absolutely sapped this year so have a bunch of rough pieces from that I don’t know if I’ll finish

My art process is a long messy process of adding and subtracting but I feel well represented by the clutter lol

By the way, if any of you wanna pay my annoying mug this christmas season, now would be the time to! Every individual purchase has $10 subtracted from it's total between now and Christmas!

Angels can use magic particles to change their appearance, but they can't shape shift like a Ricochet can. Angels have physical bodies with flesh and bones, and can only shape shift in ways that add bulk to their body. They can not subtract mass like a Ricochet can.

Hiya!

Colored prices are the prices in the tweet below and if you just want lineart, subtract 100 robux from the original price.

IMO it's important to subtract the lightning overlay layer from the blue shading one, cause that way the lightning affects only the base color instead of having to also light the shade layer

It creates a whole diff vibe! You can also use multiple overlay light layers instead tbh

Thank you! it really its really fun to mess with the layers. So it's basically a flat-is sketch that you add a couple light sources, then add a cold multi layer beneath and subtract those selections; add the previous transition light layer and BAM!

I tried to add that "edge" transition color; with PS is kinda easy as to just set the layer to "glow edge" but can't get it to work on CLP; workaround? duplicate the overlay layer a couple times, then subtract the og, leaving only an "edge" that you can recolor warmer!

Subtractive methods be like that sometimes :/

Hi hi I'm wondering if you guys can give input on my design like what should I add/subtract or does it meet my brand etc. Anything is good enough 🖤

My brand is like Spooky Gothic Barnyard Farmer Cow mainly
