@tar_miki Some sketches and a mini I mocked up. There’s more in my portfolio :) this is him and his fiance, Illias. Non dnd backstory is Illias is from Gondolin. Ruvaen came over much later from Valinor and met him.
For @hobbitgay’s #Tolkientober day 23: a piece of Tolkien’s art.
I love this drawing of Manwe’s Hall on Taniquetil in Valinor. (And let’s not talk about the Kinslaying that took place at the city on the shores...)
Dalindra and Valinor. They are two kagonesti siblings, both with silver hair, which makes them "gifted".
They are a Druid and a Ranger respectively, both revering the Blue Phoenix (Habakkuk).
Valinor is engaged to Reya.
U. Tolkien.
#Curufin didn't invent holy jewels or magical rungs, but he was really good at inventing trinkets and small machines...
While this was just a pastime back in valinor it really helped him once he had to mass produce weapons and construct fortifications.

Part 2 - coloured in the other tree of Valinor (whose name I forgot). Realising Dave Greco's PS brush pack contains a dozen different texture brushes for plants made this so much easier

“To the Noldor the Valar had given a land and a dwelling-place. Even among the radiant flowers of the Tree-lit gardens of Valinor they longed still at times to see the stars; and therefore a gap was made in the great walls of the Pelóri…” — The Silmarillion

“But Ulmo was alone, and he abode not in Valinor, nor ever came thither unless there were need for a great council; he dwelt from the beginning of Arda in the Outer Ocean, and still he dwells there.” — The Silmarillion

“In seven hours the glory of each tree waxed to full and waned again to naught; and each awoke once more to life an hour before the other ceased to shine. Thus in Valinor twice every day there came a gentle hour of softer light.” — The Silmarillion

“And when Valinor was full-wrought and the mansions of the Valar were established, in the midst of the plain beyond the mountains they built their city, Valmar of many bells.” — The Silmarillion

“Behind the walls of the Pelóri the Valar established their domain in that region which is called Valinor, and there were their houses, their gardens, and their towers.” — The Silmarillion

“Námo the elder dwells in Mandos, which is westward in Valinor. He is the keeper of the Houses of the Dead, and the summoner of the spirits of the slain. He forgets nothing; and he knows all things that shall be.” — The Silmarillion

It is said that Silmarils are the most sacred objects ever. They carried the light of Valinor trees. If they were not in the wrong hands, they would distribute beauty and wisdom to their location. The high powers of these objects also served to destroy dark beings.
“Ulmo is the Lord of Waters. He is alone. He dwells nowhere long, but moves as he will in all the deep waters about the Earth or under the Earth. He is next in might to Manwë, and before Valinor was made he was closest to him in friendship.” — The Silmarillion
