For real though, I would've thought they would've been able to get away with it on parody grounds. I'm curious to see how Viz handles it once they reach Stone Ocean in their translation of the manga.

I recently had a chance to browse through the Animage collection of my friend Lillian Olsen, translator of Hunter x Hunter for Viz. In the 90s, Animage had a regular feature that included artists' 1-panel renditions of movies. Will share some of my favorites in this thread.

Run Ishida would write and create for ASCII's Vampire Hunter. This book is notable for being one of the few Darkstalkers mangas that would be officially translated and released for American audiences under Viz Media. He too would contribute to some anthology mangas.

And since the english release of it will most likely be a boring regular VIZ release I sure hope they will opt for a much prettier one.
So how did Viz become King over Rex and Domina when Aditi disappeared before she could bring peace? Was that her final will? Was it the backing of Zubeia? Was he just stronger, older, or wiser? Did Khessa make the choice? And is Rex Igneous gonna be salty in S4?

Damn that ending of #DragonQuestDainoDaibouken… not even sure how I feel about it yet but it’s a bold choice. Is that how the manga ended? Im assuming so - but will have to keep reading the official Viz releases to see. But — WOW!

Viz really do have this way of sapping all the rawness out of dialogue don't they... Maybe this one example is nothing to most but with how I choose to consume, I feel it a lot.
