Edward Jenner FLS, creator of the world’s first vaccine, was born #OTD in 1749. His invention of a vaccine for smallpox saved countless lives. He was elected a Fellow of the @LinneanSociety in 1798 on the strength of his zoological work, especially the nesting habits of cuckoos.

Huangshan is located in southern Anhui Province of China. The scenic area occupies an area of 160 square kilometers and boasts not only attracting scenery but also abundant resources of zoological species. It was listed as one of World Natural and Cultural Heritage Sites in1990.
