My art style changed over time from more realistic lightning and subtle gradients to bolder colors and cell shaded forms. At this time I was having online classes at the Oatley Academy which was super cheap and had a forum where artist would push each other up.

Thank you so much!! I tend to work with alot of colour in my stuff so I guess it's just learned, main advice for colour is gradients and layer effects, this way you can tone down the opacity of individual colours and brights if it's too cluttered, other than that, no idea!

Happy Flash Friday! Eagle Scream shows one of my big early issues, do I use gradients on colors? This was my first time trying it out and you can see the gradient on the back wiggle. I like wiggles but not here so gradients are the one thing I dont re-draw now.

Using my holidays to learn Affinity Designer (vector program with additional pixel ability). The graphics were purely done with vectors incl. gradients, transparency, inner & outer shadows. Still feels work in progress, not perfect and "never done" but hey it’s a start!
