I really love those old style pulp romance books covers, especially the gothic romances and Pino covers. These painted covers are absolutely beautiful. Does anyone know of any current publishers that still do this, whatever the genre? :)

Going after manga pirates while "officialy licenced publishers":

Censor content over political / religious reasons
Refuse to publish chapters over "moral grounds"
Sometimes give outright wrong translations
Region lock other countries on their streaming platform/ DVDs.
