I was looking at those new nanoblock sonic figures and looks like they have new Uekawa art on them. This sonic looks to be a recreation of this Sonic Channel art from 2007. Uekawa has definitely improved! I'll post the rest of the art below.

I will always stand by Uekawa's Sonic as the definitive Sonic design. When I think of Sonic the first thing that comes to mind is his art. He basically revolutionized the character (with the help of Satoshi Okano of course) and made him look sick as hell.

Just wanted to say that the Art-style for the SA games was the BRILLIANT, man. The style was inspired by graffiti and Sonic was known to be cool and rebellious, it was an obvious combo. My boy Yuji Uekawa did the man justice. I rest my case
