Fun fact (since we are in top gun days). The first movie of it's style, La ultima escuadrilla was made in 1951. It's a story about a group of air force academy students that is the last to graduate. They included tons of flying footage and real stunts for the scenes.

Sorry for lack of anything lately have messing around with lighting and shading behind the scenes. I'll share this for the time being.
I've always liked this ritual scene with its closer emphasis on small details, I'm often working a bit more zoomed out for my action scenes. So this was a fun bit to adapt to scroll as well, trying to enhance that feeling of wind and building magic with the backdrop effects. 🌀
I was lucky enough to mint a pretty sweet Chill palette Microgravity (#990) by @iRyanBell. I love it because it’s got some calming 70’s vibes, but is all code and wizardry behind the scenes. Haven’t seen many of them like it in the set.
