I still feel like my style hasn't changed much in the year, but I am really liking how my colors and ideas have been progressing. This year I hope I can branch out more and maybe even do some collabs!

This year i got to branch out as a freelance artist, something ive honestly been terrified to do. Ive been able to develop a style of art im happy of and i feel reflects who i am, ive had commissioners whove put trust in me to bring their characters to life. Thank you so much 💖
drawing is *by far* one of the most difficult things I've ever tried to learn
it relies on an incredible amount of intuition and navigation through a huge possibility space with one of the highest branching factors I've ever encountered, without knowing if you even did it right

I really started experiementing and branching out in November, I drew,,, a LOT. I wanted to end the year pulling myself out of the funk that was growing around me, and I felt that I really slacked this year WITH drawing, because of my mental health with work

I knew I needed to do something different with my art, I needed to branch out more. I was back into playing WoW with one of my best friends, and it was giving me a drive that I needed, love again for my OCs, this was when I was experimenting with coloring

I began tackling difficult subject matters like clouds, mountains and human anatomy. I even branched out and drew some humanoid and human characters!
SideM: okay so Starlit Season was a disappointment but there's been such a huge outpour of all-branch content or collabo after that AND MStage is getting replaced that I wonder how much was in response to the backlash.
Also this was a BOMB year for Ren, Shiki, and Shiro cards!!!
