Before this these characters were almost completely monochromatic save for one splash of color, the addition of yellow and blue makes them stand out more, I don't know what else to say. I just love the new choices they made. (2/2)

I've heard that being monochromatic is part of the entire point of Reshiram and Zekrom's designs

Counterpoint: Kyurem
I also don't think it's really justification for the shiny literally having the superior palette
Since gold goes better with white than silver does.

Can I just say that Shiny Reshiram really should have been the default palette for the Pokémon?

It doesn't have that monochrome problem, and the subtle purple lighting and fire effects makes this look pretty much completely superior to the regular colours.

Recently finished a commission to paint a sea turtle! We usually love using bold colors in our work, but we love how the muted, monochrome colors came out in this piece.

If you have a commission idea you would like to have us create-DM or email us!

Turquoise monochrome is a thing of purest beauty💙 Placed together with fully coloured pieces - a delicate contrast appears✨

So the lighting in this one was SUPER tricky but I really enjoyed it! And a monochrome version as well, because I tend to paint in black and white and then add colour.

Five years before and after. Updated him to try to shift away from monochromatic color schemes and also color him to resemble peridot rather than an emerald galaxy that he was.

Went with two of the latest since one is monochrome and I wanted to show color. But Issh has changed quite a bit since the original design haha
