I've never played a Xenoblade game but I'm really enjoying Pyra and Mythra in Smash, especially the latter. I think her 'censored' design is an improvement over the original as it gives the outfit a sleeker look with better colour contrast. Quite appealing to draw.

No reference vs using a reference. Man, that contrast XD. I know they have differing levels of detail but I guess I don’t put enough on my own. Last pic is the reference I used. I got it off Pinterest. Idk if the one I found is the original, but I’ll post the link anyways.
ok i think the problem was a lack of background contrast they appear to match better now
it took a while cause i was messing with the settings but i'm done
settings: brightness -80, exposure -50, contrast +50, saturation -50 (in samsung built-in gallery editor)

@RhyanJill Allow me to play Bach's 3rd Brandenburg Concerto on the world's smallest violin while I headpat Best Girl™. She likes chamber music anyway and enjoys doing housework because it "makes her feel useful to Player-sama." Contrast that to the why-mins complaining in the article.
