Oh yeah, I adore Zinda with a passion and she was totally the extra ingredient they needed to take the team to new character heights, but there were 74 issues of BoP (not counting minis/specials) before her so I dunno about the core part.

I like finales where the MC & core cast are still far below the final villain in terms of power etc. When that dynamic is written well & the defeat makes complete sense while incorporating the power system, luck + multiple culminating factors; I find that most thrilling. > a 1v1.
