I thought it would be good to revisit the other robot characters I had outlined for the animation with proper artwork! Only the drone robot (third from left), and the trash robot (fourth) had proper designs prior to this.

Oh geez. I got an animatronic girl. These are a few versions of her. Though the later pictures show her stained spots better since I didn't outline them in the first picture of her but not the sister location one.

Turns out 's Outliner node also works as a hatching generator if you plug in a procedural bump map into the Normal socket. These are Checker, Brick, Wave, and 2D Vornonoi. Could be fun to mask these into shading or something.

Throwback to when I was first starting to get more comfortable with digital art. The sketch, however, was still on paper for this one, and is visible in the outlines of the character below. Still love the pose of this anthro fox, even if the anatomy could use some work.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was teaching a complete 3D newbie how to make a quick outline shader.

(I couldn't manage to get freestyle working for some reason, but I just wanted to test colors either way)

Update numero 3 on my current drawing, I've finally managed to draw hands! kinda- I think it looks weird still but I can't be fussed to improve it any more. I've colored in and partially shaded in most of the clothes and retouched her hair. Outlines need to be improved soon.

Tried something new. Not sure how much I care for it, maybe adding at outline would help but I haven't taken it to an engine yet.

Now we move on to colouring it all in. I do like to sort out the eyes first because they've got the most outline replacements in most of these MS Paints.

I usually end up adjusting the outlines I've done when I'm colouring the eye in because I normally trace it pretty roughly.
