Did some studies last night on various mustelid ears, threw up some colors on two, to illustrate the difference between black-footed ferret ears (on the left) and regular ferrets (on the right). I love how pointy the black-footed ferret ears are!
Okay, this is how I would redesign Toucan Sam based on this and his past iterations. One, don't use gradients, they look tacky and distracting. Two, I took from this design and his 1960s design giving a more defined shape that doesn't have the weird mouth pasted on. https://t.co/22getfVqS5
