Feel like sharing this old painting from some time back, as its colours bring me joy and I still love the concept of a tiny civilization, in some cute fluffs backyard pool

A snapshot from that alternate timeline where civilization in Sumer developed stained glass for their cathedrals to go with their Art Nouveauesque aesthetic.

Day 22 - Winged Shark

In addition to the sea and land, our civilization has also triumphed over the skies. Our largest flying vehicle was created after the Diaspora of our people, who sought refuge in the stars and beyond. However not all of them managed to take off.

The burning path of evolution
The self-proclaimed 'civilized world' is stuck in fast reverse
The rest of mankind and its new friends carry on forward
Technology is the Achilles' heel
Bots will shoot from the hip...

Today On 27 Oct 1605, the 3rd Mughal Emperor Akbar breathed his last at Agra.

It was he who slaughtered the 30,000 civilians during the bloody siege of Chittorgarh in 1567.

When I heard about a Muslim Superheroine Solo , I was hoping for Excalibur, Faiza Hussain. Was pretty disappointed to learn it wasn't going to be her, Dust, Or M.
Was also confused why Carol would abandon her Civil War protégé Ultragirl for some random fangirl.

Result:

The inhabitants of the plains (Arabs) are not only foreign conquerors but they are also uncivilized and nomadic, therefore they don't deserve to own the lands they live in & can't even cultivate them: the expropriation of their lands by the French was therefore justified

🔍Focus on the Moors:

In earlier years it was said majority of the pop were moors.

But in order to justify colonialism & support the idea the region was uncivilized & in need to be enlightened by France they shifted the narrative & claimed moors were only a negligible minority.
