I baked ambient occlusion and normal maps out of sculpted high-poly detail for the furless parts (face, paws), and ofc did another non-final fur test.
Also, he's got slit-pupil monster eyes now!
Theory: Since Super Mario Galaxy took so much from Super Mario Sunshine in the early days, Mario's Galaxy model may be an edit of Mario's high poly render/cutscene model from Sunshine, and DemoMario (unused in Galaxy)'s hands may actually be the hands from said Sunshine model
