Might as well say it, My game (MaxSine) is moving to 3D because I can't stand making so much progress, but yet I feel like I'm not getting the point across with particular aspects of the gameplay.
Plus I'm WAY more fond of Godots 3D side than 2D.

For 2D models, you'll generally need to have special separated art then get that art rigged to produce movement using a program called live2D.

Some people sell full models and some only sell the art or rigging. To make one yourself, you'll require both art and rigging skills.
