Blastoise is such a cool freaking Pokémon. One of my absolute favorites. He looks so incredibly cool in the anime but then you get to the games and… I think Blastoise suffers a lot from the switch to 3D. They desperately need to update his model.

I already know this design is,,, kinda a nightmare to make in 3d. Hell, he's hardly consistent in the 2d art (totally not saying this from experience or anything) but god, Berry is eyecandy and I love him.

Finished off this Blender sculpt. Considered learning the whole pipeline but feel like doing that from a simpler env prop might be easier, so I might do that next. Got a very basic understanding of how to output some renders - one of my least familiar aspects in 3d.

Procreate! It’s stellar for drawing, animation, AND you can paint 3D models in it! I also use Nomad Sculpt for 3D. I used both to create this!

Huh.. I don't think I've ever played the MegaDrive version of Wolf3D. I've generally been playing the DOS version (lately, in DOSBox.) Though, strangely enough, these screenshots are from an Amiga version. Which was fun to tinker around with back when I didn't have a PC.. 😄
