My favourite object in the Getty Villa was this wonderful Roman fresco of slaves cutting into a carcass. Unlike anything I’ve seen before from the Vesuvian sites, I love every detail from the pedestal with the garlic bulb to the sheen on the silver pot.

Bulbasaur is said to be a frog, so I wanted to redesign him with one thing in mind: FROG.

First one is Tree Frog, with an Orchid as his bulb. Second is bullfrog with an african lily as his bulb.
