To start the google list recommend ones. I can speak highly for tenjho ranks and kenichi. The last two double as romance and comedy so fighting is important but isn’t always the main focus. Then the tale of the worst one is about swords but it has a good work build for reference

Great advice! I have found pupil placement really helps bring a character to life!

All the Downbeat chars use this philosophy to make them feel like they have a point of focus.
