I've been working on some shmup art lately and it's time to share the 3 protagonists of the story! Briar, the ace pilot of the RAMMBOCK is first. Followed by the resistance member Luciliae (a character I've drawn MANY times). Finally we have Calanthe, the "plasmachanic" for hire.

Like the first game, this is just a straight-up bullet hell. Immediately the screen becomes completely spammed with enemies and leaves you with no room to maneuver.

I can dig a well made shmup, but bullet hells ain't my thing.

Anaza: Kaleidoscope Special!

It's a shmup. On the plus side, you get multiple hit points. BUT, you only get one life. One of the major issues that keeps popping up is the lack of interesting power-ups, or anything interesting at all with this shmups. They all feel samey.

or Wings of Wor is an awesome Love the bizarre aesthetic and the music by Noriyuki Iwadare is great and fits the game, all in a small 512kB cart. Is well known for that c**k boss lol but the game is more than that, believe me ;)
