People have told me Hesse Sonic's design is more simple because it's designed to be more expressive than detailed, but uh...
Yuji Uekawa design is both more expressive AND more detailed, so Hesse Sonic's overly flat coloration just makes it lesser to me

@RubyPassage Tangle and Whisper were designed with input from Sonic Team, so it's probably more like how Sticks showed up in Mario and Sonic, and the 25th Anniversary comics

I was looking at those new nanoblock sonic figures and looks like they have new Uekawa art on them. This sonic looks to be a recreation of this Sonic Channel art from 2007. Uekawa has definitely improved! I'll post the rest of the art below.
